PlanPerfect and Local News Catalyst Launch Public Media Strategy Cohort

PlanPerfect and Local News Catalyst are partnering to support a 2026 strategic planning cohort of small and mid-sized public media organizations focused on strengthening their service, deepening local connection, and planning for long-term sustainability.

The cohort includes 30 stations across 22 states, from the Aleutian Islands to Appalachia to California’s North Coast. These organizations vary in format and focus—some are news-driven, others serve as cultural or civic connectors—but all play a critical role in delivering trusted, community-centered content to audiences often overlooked by mainstream media.

Participants will have access to the PlanPerfect platform, strategic guidance from experts, and a structured environment for shared learning and collaboration.
